Instructor Bio

natalievaldezNatalie Valdez received her B.Sc in Economics and Finance and an M.B.A. specializing in Finance in 2004 and 2006 respectively.  Having worked in the Financial Services Industry for nearly a decade and in searching for a way to being committed to health and well being, she found Pilates.  Upon completing her apprenticeship to obtain her first comprehensive certification, Natalie was keen on furthering her education and once she was introduced to Romana’s Pilates instruction, her life changed.  She is a certified Romana’s Pilates instructor and is amazed with how much stronger one becomes and truly can attest to Joseph Pilates’ quote: “In 10 sessions you will feel the difference.  In 20 you will see the difference.  And in 30 you’ll be on your way to having a whole new body.”

Natalie is the best at everything she puts her heart into; therefore she chose to study under Daria Pace, granddaughter to Joseph Pilates’ protege Romana Kryzanowska.  Natalie apprenticed under Ms. Pace for over a year to complete her Romana’s certification in 2012, and she makes it a priority to continue her own Pilates lessons with Ms. Pace to deepen her understanding and further expand her knowledge because her practice is her teacher. In 2012, Natalie opened her private studio in Coral Gables, Envy Pilates. “I teach Pilates because I love sharing the transformation I have received through my own commitment to Pilates. I know that Pilates can transform anyone who is open to it”. Natalie teaches from the heart. She leads a Pilates class that is energizing, transformative and challenging.

“In my practice, my teaching and in my life I am inspired by connection with the body and soul.  I am committed to doing my best to live fully in each moment.  I have personally benefited from Pilates in every way.  As a teacher, my intention is to create a space where each student can experience their own greatness.”
